HANS WEGNER     One of the finest vintage examples of Hans Wegner's sculptural masterpiece The Chair. This piece embodies his design philosophy: a continuous process of purification - and for me of simplification - to cut down to the simplest possible elements of four legs, a seat and combined top rail and arm rest. This is an uncommon and most desirable combination of red teak, with cane seat, and trademark exposed back joints. All original vintage condition, with Johannes Hansen branded marks and Knoll paper label intact. SOLD
