1950s Revolving Coffee Table Risom Design USA

JENS RISOM   A rare model designed in 1958, this ingenious coffee table features solid walnut construction and a lazy-susan revolving top, perfect for entertaining. A knurled and threaded knob hidden on the top of one leg acts as a brake. The top rotates smoothly on a Seng Chicago ball-bearing swivel, which were also utilized by the Eames on their dowel-swivel based chairs.
