Aluminum Group Chair

Herman Miller
USA
CHARLES + RAY EAMES

The Aluminum Group was initially conceived by Charles Eames and Alexander Girard as a high quality solution to outdoor furniture. By the time of production however, Herman Miller marketed the group for use in outdoor, indoor domestic, and office settings. Its revolutionary anatomical design and clean fluid profile spoke of understated elegance, and has since become a modernist classic.

This example has been reupholstered in a deep wine nubby fabric. The pedestal base features sculpted polished aluminum legs, denoting second series production.

Signed with impressed factory marks. Multiple chairs are available.
