1950s Pair of Nipigon Chairs Imperial Canada

JAN KUYPERS     A pair of rare Nipigon chairs by Dutch designer Jan Kuypers. Crafted from solid birch, this design featured molded plywood panels and legs angled like the points of a compass, a theme prevalent among many designs of the time, including works by Jean Prouve, Pierre Jeanneret, Friso Kramer, and Allan Gould.
